This twisted, funky double A side single features the sinister sampling and haunting melodies of Jung Collective's "Injustice", the first single on Gubby's own Nanny Tango label. The reverent-like vocal samples, disturbed afro-grooves and ring-modulated percussion on this slice of deep funk makes you wonder what deranged world Jung Collective inhabit! Throughout Alan's recording career (for labels such as Soul Jazz, Tru Thoughts, Cup Of Tea, Language & many more) he has consistently sailed uncharted waters with deft eccentricity and an ear for striking fusion.

The flip side features experimental electronica pioneers and Black Dog off shooters, Plaid. Having aided progressive mainstreamers such as Bjork, Radiohead, Marilyn Manson and The Dandy Warhols, this time they get their Warp hands lo down and dirty on Jung Collective's "Street Preacher". Ominous bass action and seething musical wizardry culminate in a stormy masterpiece of quality electronica d&b.

"Love Injustice! Played as opening track on BBC programme which goes out to 153 million listeners & US college radio.

"this lovely 7" single has an amazing Plaid remix on the flip - Very nice indeed...looking forward to future material. Retained high position (no. 11) in top 20 for 2nd week"

"love Injustice!"

"Injustice is an absolute Killer ...It goes straight into the singles compartment of my much travelled and battered record bag where it will be more permanent than Ken Barlow.... Eclectic respect!"
Paul Murphy - Afro Art Recordings
